MEHUL BHATT
A graduate of School of Architecture, CEPT, Ahmedabad, Mehul, Director and Principal Architect, has been a practicing architect since 1996. Having extensively worked on projects of varied scales, sizes and complexities, he brings to the team an understanding of architecture and urban design from a phenomenological perspective. He strives towards achieving a qualitative belonging of the users, a sense of Place, in his architecture.
Mehul is also a visiting faculty at Faculty of Architecture, CEPT University, conducting studio courses for undergraduate and post graduate programs.
Apart from being a full time architect, he is also passionate about photography , driving, being the dad, music, graffiti, making models, reading books (especially Salman Rushdie and Milan Kundera), travelling and....... world peace.
DR. JIGNA DESAI
An alumnus from Cardiff University, Wales and School of Architecture, CEPT, Ahmedabad, Jigna is the founding director and consultant of the firm. Having done her specialization in sustainable design and Historic Urban Landscapes and Doctorate in Urban Heritage and Conservation, she brings to the firm frameworks of sustainability. Her strengths are in developing design processes that are relevant to each project and her involvement ensures a systemic perspective at all scales.
Jigna is a full time faculty at CEPT University, Ahmedabad as an Associate Professor. She is involved in teaching and research in architecture, sustainable design and conservation. (http://cept.ac.in/faculty/jigna-desai)
If doing all the things she is involved in does not manage to keep her busy, she likes to wander around in public transport, watch movies, read and write.
